Theodore Roosevelt was one of our most fascinating Presidents. Our fifth graders are studying the turn of the century in their Social Studies curriculum. In order to integrate technology into their curriculum this was an appropriate tool to use. TR is also a personal favorite of mine. I grew up on Long Island and for many of our family and school trips we went to Sagamore Hill. It always fascinated me because it was so peaceful and rural when most of Long Island was not. Below are the Sunshine State Standards that fit into this lessson.
